Harvey York’s Rise to Power Chapter 2254

The following day, Harvey‘s word spread throughout Longmen.

His announcement caused a huge uproar.

Other than those who originally belonged to Mordu‘s Longmen branch, the other thirty–five branches

thought that Harvey had gone insane.

To talk big despite being a newly appointed branch leader...

He was clearly going against the Four Elders and Longmen‘s Law Enforcement!

This was not a matter of courage. Harvey had a death wish!

News from Flutwell claimed that one of the Four Longmen Elders got so angry, he smashed an

invaluable purple clay pot into pieces in a fit of rage

The Law Enforcement, meanwhile, was preparing their troops to arrest the branch leader, who was going

against his superiors.

While the world was stirring up a fuss, Harvey returned to the number one villa.

As he walked in, he was greeted with the sight of Mandy and Xynthia anxiously pacing the living

room.

Simon was holding a letter, and his face was a bloodless pallor. His thoughts were completely

unreadable .

“What happened? What‘s going on?” Harvey asked swiftly. He didn‘t even have the time to

take a single sip of water.

“Something terrible happened to Mother, Harvey! Someone told us to give you this letter. If you don‘t do

as the letter says, they‘ll kill her!” Mandy said, panicked. She snatched the letter from Simon and

promptly handed it to

Harvey.

Inside was a picture of Lilian bound tightly to a chair.

Behind her, a bustling place with bright lights could be seen.

Harvey squinted, studying some of the iconic buildings present in the picture.

“Las Vegas?!”

“That‘s right?” Mandy exclaimed, and pointed at the words in the letter.

“They said that they‘ll kill Mother if you don’t show up to Las Vegas alone in three days!”

“What should we do, Harvey?”

Mandy was now the head of the ninth branch within the Jean family, but even so, her newly attained

prestige was still not enough to keep her calm under such circumstances.

After all, this was her own mother they were talking about!

Harvey clenched the letter tightly and studied the handwriting, trying to decipher wh

penmanship belonged to.

“I know who did this,” he said after a while, his voice calm.

“Don‘t worry, everyone. I‘ll go there and get Mom back.”

It was true that after Lilian arrived at Mordu, she

kept trying to kick Harvey out of the family...

But the fact of the matter was, she was still

Mandy‘s mother.

Since Harvey was the one who caused this tragedy, albeit indirectly he couldn‘t just stand by and watch

Mandy regained her composure slightly after hearing Harvey‘s words. She then added quietly, “What if

we make use of the Jean family‘s powers as well, Harvey? If we do that, it‘ll be easy to find Mother.”

“I can come with you to Las Vegas,

“I can‘t just watch my own mother suffer!”

Harvey wanted to convince her otherwise, but seeing how anxious Mandy was, he couldn‘t help but sigh

and relent.

“Fine. You can come with me.“

“But have one request. Whatever happens next, you have to listen to me.”

As he spoke, he took out his phone and sent a few messages to several people.

Early in the next morning, a private plane landed steadily at Las Vegas International Airport. The weather

was bright and sunny.

This was a private plane owned by the Jean family, one of the assets that Mandy was able to mobilize.

When the plane landed, a Mercedes Benz G showed up outside the airport without a sound.

Someone was looking at Harvey from the backseat through a black–tinted window.
